You don’t know what it is, but it’s not this.

You wish you knew what you wanted. You wish you knew where you were supposed to be going, who you’re supposed to be; you wish you had more time to figure this all out, you wish you could feel freer more often. Your plans have changed so many times that you’re beginning to think you can’t be trusted to decide what you want, and as change continues to not happen you start to wonder if this really is it.

You’re not sure how you got here because you did everything right: you set all the goals and you worked towards them and you hit most of them so why does it all feel so… empty?

The answer is quite simple. You didn’t do anything wrong, you’re now just following an out of date map. It was a map that got you from there to here, but it can’t take you any further than right-here-right-now. If you want a life that’s true, a life that’s yours, a life worth living - well, you need to tear up the old maps and create one that’s pure you.

Over the last three years, I’ve changed everything. I was living to work and became burnt out, I bought the dream house, I ended a long term relationship, sold the dream house, started walking up hills and ended up feeling like my real self for the first time in 30 years. I may not have any of the boxes ticked, but I am happy.

Mapping is the story of my journey to fulfilment, and the story of how you can find it too. It is the process I went through, with space for you to tread your own path. It is a new way of experiencing this examined life, one that can change the way you think. It is a space for you to summon your power, believe in your agency - and make your choice.

How Mapping Works

Mapping is split into four sections: Reimagine, Redefine, Reclaim and Reignite. These are the major milestones I have found to exist on my path to truth and fulfilment: reimagining what’s possible, redefining your assumptions, reclaiming your time and resources and reigniting your joy. Within each section there are Field Notes, a Map, and an Excursion - twelve of each in total. You can read or listen to the field notes before using the map to create your own version of that theme and testing it out with the excursion.

1 - Reimagine

Belief - considering, and believing, the possibility that something better can exist
De-compartmentalise - understanding interconnectedness of life to ground into it’s reality
Circular mindset - freeing yourself from the myth of linear progression

2 - Redefine

Visioning - defining your own dream big picture
Priorities - finding your few non-negotiables and learning to put them above expectations
Higher Self - creating and connecting to the you you want to be

3 - Reclaim

Permission - seeing ourselves as a trustworthy source of permission rather than seeking it externally
Time and space - taking control of how your time is spent to free up space
Reasons - overcoming reasonable excuses to do what you truly want

4 - Reignite

Energy - preserving and managing energy for a more consistent existence
The Ooze - knowing and creating your own pure joy
For Life - habits and expectations to keep going

There are three ways to join Mapping:

1 - The Map

Mapping as a self-led experience for you to commit to and indulge in. There is no Facebook group, no live calls to show up to; no falling behind, no comparison - just you remaking your life in your own image.

It will take as long as you decide it will take - you could devour it across a few weekends, or chip away over the course of the year.

Perhaps you take yourself on a weekly date to a coffee shop to read and work through it, perhaps buy yourself one Sunday a month to delve into it, perhaps you take it away for a solo weekend retreat. It’s your life, your map - do whatever you need.

2 - The Pack

Mapping as a group for those who desire discussion, support and accountability. If the idea of doing it alone feels more scary than liberating, The Pack holds you gently in a supportive structure to make sure you really do it.

Over four months we will work through the four modules as a pack, uplifting each other in the discussion group and clarifying ideas in the weekly Q&As. Any question you have about any topic will be answered that week, helping you to get the absolute most out of the Mapping content.

We will move through all the content over the four months, incorporating a rest week each month, but you also have access to Mapping forever, so you can continue to return to it after our time together is over.

3 - The Guide

Mapping as a fully supported, in-depth journey for those who want an immersive experience. If you don’t want to get lost in a group or know you’d prefer to talk it all through, The Guide provides one-to-one support to bring you clarity and real change.

We will have four monthly calls, just you and I, to dive deep on what you’re uncovering in each Mapping module. We’ll follow the important tangents, make sure you’re clear and confident and set up the next steps to take action in your life. Between calls there’s also text support to share a-ha moments or ask burning questions.

All our calls will be recorded with notes and next steps sent to you, plus you’ll also have access to The Pack discussion group and Q&As. And of course, you have Mapping forever to return to in the future.

Who Mapping Is For

You do not need a business to benefit from Mapping. All you need is a desire to haul the direction of your life towards something that feels more true. There are no other entry requirements than your need to feel fulfilled.

Maybe you’ve been trying to tick all the boxes of “doing life right” but it leaves you feeling adrift from yourself. Maybe you’ve had a big life change and want to reconnect to yourself and rebuild a life of your own. Maybe living through a global pandemic for two years has made you question what you want out of life. Maybe nothing has “happened” but you feel lost, disconnected and searching for more.

When people offer courses like this it is very easy think “yeah, good for you but I could never”. When you are there deep in the brambles of overwhelm, expectation and responsibility and you don’t know how you’re ever going to get out, let alone live your truest, most joyful life - it can feel almost insulting when someone boils it down to four pithily titled steps. Of course you don’t believe it, and you don’t have to.

This is not some simple thing to do, skipping across the stepping stones towards a happily ever after. I haven’t had an easy breezy two years of it, believe me. It is messy and winding and backwards and forwards but what it is most of all is worth it. I have never regretted any stage of the path.

So no, it won’t be easy but throughout Mapping I talk about dealing with the hard, navigating through the boulder fields of the reasons you “can’t”, letting go of unhelpful mindsets and providing a rough line to follow so it’s not as hard as it could be. Mapping is the safety net as you learn to fly.
