Grow With Soul Ep.03: Coaching Episode - Content, Comparison & Scatterbrain Working with Kara Leigh Ford
This week's episode isn’t a traditional interview, but a coaching call where we dig into some real life business and marketing problems and find solutions to them. My guest is Kara Leigh Ford, a ceramicist and potter based just outside of Bath in Somerset. Kara started pottery as a hobby 14 years ago, becoming hooked after taking an evening pottery class and rushing home from work every evening to pot late into the night. In 2015 Kara gave up her day job to follow her dream to be a full time potter. She designs and hand-makes everything from her garden shed, making modern rustic table and homeware inspired by the textures and colours of her favourite childhood beaches. In our conversation we cover so much, from tactics for dealing with comparison, creating an effective work routine, all things email marketing, and creating content when writing doesn’t come easily. I know that not only will you love Kara, but that you will relate to so much of what we talk about on this episode.
