There’s always something that comes up, always a reason to start next week - it feels so unmotivatingly far away. It’s easier to believe you will start than it is to actually start. But you want it. You really want it. And every day that trickles past feels like more of your life trickling away.

What you really want to do is disappear off to a cabin in the woods. Nothing but the birdsong and the trees and the scratch of your pen on paper, the steam from your tea, the sigh of your long breath. A space where you can be here. A space where you can practise and plan for the life that you want.

Fulfilment isn’t a here to there - it’s an emanating out. It’s poured water on dry earth that spreads. The only thing you need to be here is a here to be in. That cabin can exist in your every day, you just need to practice the way there.

 

Welcome to The Cabin

 

The Cabin is a digital location that is all your own. It is a place for you to escape to for a few hours a month and focus on yourself. It is quiet and it is yours.

In every room are books for you to read and notebooks in which to scribble, and every month a delivery of words and ideas will arrive.

The Cabin is cocoon to support and nurture you while you learn to make the cabin of your life.

How It Works

Nine months in a place to escape to, to devote time to thinking, and then come back and feel it emanating into your daily life.

Monthly Deliveries

Each month, a new package will arrive in The Cabin (and your inbox) on a monthly theme. Each package includes an essay and audio, a workbook, suggested rituals and activities. This deliveries serve as the spine and momentum of The Cabin. You can explore the monthly themes in the drop down below.

At the end of each month there will also be a support Q&A, where you can submit questions and thoughts and I will record a response to deliver to The Cabin.

Optional: you can also get 3x one hour 121 text support sessions with me - you can use these whenever you feel you want a little more accountability and support.

 Who The Cabin is for:

The Cabin is designed for women whose ambition has led them into a life they’re not sure is their own. It’s not that you don’t love your business and your work, you’d just like to do it less - and not feel bad about that. You’ve had enough of letting high achievement dictate your creativity, your work, your hobbies (or lack of) - you’d like to live now, please.

  • You need help committing and remembering to make the life you want

  • You want to look around and realise you’re just doing it

The Cabin is not for you if: you are totally lost without a clue of what you want (try Mapping if this you), you want highly personalised one-to-one coaching, you want to work within a group, you want to just follow a curriculum rather than make your own explorations.

The Cabin is rooted in my journey so far (and still come) as a self-employed person, and is therefore better suited to those who have their own business or on-paper control over their working life. If this doesn’t feel like exactly you but you’re still keen to join The Cabin, we can chat about it.

 Why Now?

Only you can know whether the “not yet” in your head is the truth or an excuse - and you do know. If you are smiling to yourself it’s because you do know, really, it’s an excuse.

I choose to live with the fear of regret rather than the fear of failure; I want to do and be exactly what and how I want every day so I don’t regret it in 50 days or 50 years. It’s up to you if you decide to feel like that too. 

This is exactly the way that I build the cabin in my every day. It’s not a 100% success rate - we are humans with thoughts and emotions and environments that get in the way. But it is how I return to my own fulfilment, and how I continually structure my life to be here. The Cabin is gentle with supportive materials that won’t take over your world. You do not need to clear your calendar for months, it is here to slot in. If you can make a little time, you can make a big life.

There are Circumstances. There is time, opportunity, the school run, the work load, the calendar. There is the fear of failure, the worry that it’s too hard, that it’s too important - or not important enough. There are the ways that your past selves set up your life that you now feel you can’t get out of. There is the patriarchy trying to keep you in a box. This will always be true. There will never be a time where these things don’t exist. So,

if not now, when?

 No more days, no more weeks, no more months. No more longing looks out of the window. No more “some day”, no more “when I get there”. No more time in a life you don’t really want. No more life spent unfulfilled. 

It’s time to emanate into your life worth living.
